Darryl Cordova is the Senior Director, Development at Rose Rock with a passion for unearthing extraordinary and entertaining stories.
Based on the West Coast, Darryl’s track record of identifying and tapping into a rich seam of compelling characters has helped deliver a number of award-winning hit factual shows for US streamers and networks and aligns with Rose Rock’s ambitions to deliver world class Americana content.
Darryl’s previous role was Director of Development at Wheelhouse’s Spoke Studios, where he worked across internal development and funded projects. Darryl helped develop and sell multiple series including titles such as Hulu’s Secret Chef, Magnolia’s Inn the Works and Netflix’s Hype House.
Prior to Spoke, Darryl served on the development teams for ITV America’s Leftfield Pictures and Outpost Entertainment, where he supported ideation, creative development and research. He also worked as a production coordinator with the hit syndicated series TMZ on TV and TMZ Sports, supervising daily show operations and physical production.
